Treason for freedom

article image placeholderUploaded by @OmegaStrange
It was probably a scary time because it was considered death sentence back to slavery. So, I don't know, it became a bit awkward for me to really celebrate the 4 July because for us, it was a loss. Most of us lost. We went back into change or we were executed for treason. But it is crazy to think that. What would America look like if the British won the war? What would the UK look like?

Wazi wazi WA. Right? But when you get to June 10, it's something that you don't really hear talked about that much, at least amongst my coworkers. The most I've ever talked to about it at my job was my boss. And it really was because we were both stunned a couple of years ago or last year when it was first recognized as a federal holiday

Maybe the liberal states would be the first ones to do it, but here in Arizona, it's not that liberal. And yeah, if anything, they probably think that we're trying to be slick. I'm like, wait a minute, if we start giving y'all holiday pay for Juneteenth, that sounds like reparations h*** to the knock, but yeah, man, it's going to be a while before we see any holiday pay for June 10. Yeah

You. Oh, my bad. The security at my job site, they tend to primarily, I guess, work there. I wouldn't be any the security guard had mentioned he was ready for the long weekend, so he was implying that he was getting Juneteenth off. I don't know if guessing that. I think it's Viking
