Why are FBI special agents called cops?

It may even be great if it has the right budget and the right writers. But I see they have a certain audience that they have to target. And it's fun to watch, right? It is fun to watch, but it does dole me off a little bit, and sometimes it's not fun to watch

The IRS has a recent history of denial of approvals to conservative nonprofit groups because of their political views. They weaponized the FISA warrant process to go after innocent Americans. The Department of justice, or what I like to refer to as the Department of Injustice, wasted millions of taxpayer dollars doing things they really shouldn't be doing, that they would have never done previously. Many years ago, Washington weaponized it by FBI against the American parents by labeling them terrorists

Hello, gentlemen. What an interesting topic. Eric, I thought you had a great take on the perception of fictionalized television implementing more of the FBI bi, as in deemed the police. And I have some theories to add on top of that. I notice often in most FBI shows, so we're talking like mainstream broadcasting, non cable like NBC, CBS and ABCs

They don't belong to any state. They belong to the federal government. I guess you can argue they belong to every state, right, but they don't belong to any state. They belong to the federal government. And so maybe the FBI. So they want us to gain more trust in the FBI, to see them as, like, your friendly neighborhood police officer. But honestly, in my opinion, I think that because we've been so conditioned to seeing cop shows, right?

But at the same time, you have to be careful how much you fictionalize these characters. The story, the story itself. You have to be very careful. There needs to be limits. There's always needs to be a limit in balance. I think these writers get so caught up, and maybe a lot of these writers, they probably work on cop shows and they just forgot. Maybe some of these writers are also riding on Law and Order
