Segregation in the schools cafeteria

So tell me, what were you like back in middle school, high school? Who did you sit with? Or was you a loner? Did you sit by yourself? And like always, peace out

But actually, I can remember in high school, I just sat alone. I made the decision to just sit alone, and from that I got more attention because I was considered a class clown, so they would wonder why I wouldn't sit with the other kids. But I think at that time, I was becoming more comfortable with my own space. So I could remember sitting alone with a dictionary and the source and a voice recorder. Now I was working on my wraps

Hey, it's J. L. My initial thought is that it stems from it could possibly stem from someone's private or personal makeup. And so what I mean by that is if a person is usually surrounded by a crowd that has a mix of ethnicities and culture and religion, then when they are outside of their air quotation, home environment, community, neighborhood, then they will probably hang around the same people in other settings

And there's just sort of this recognition of this is a fellow human and they're feeling what they're feeling and oh my goodness, I feel for them. There's a connection of empathy in that way, right? But as we start to grow then of course we are not only raised however we're raised but then we also have this very human need, I think to belong and to be a part of groups, to be accepted and so on
@SeekingPlumb

@OmegaStrange Humans are supposedly not tribal. https://s.swell.life/STO4iqy10A88kVX

I thought about this earlier, but I forgot to include it. It was an article I stumbled across a few months ago, but since then I've heard about this in several different places that apparently humans were not always tribal and that this is a more recent development. And so I thought I'd include this article, as I thought maybe you might find it interesting. Strength

At least one of them, my a** could have gotten her number. Still, I was so d*** lane back there. I think the reason why we segregate ourselves is because we feel discomfort and being around people that think like us. And when people come together, they create their own unique identity. And we were just talking about borrowing identity on another post, but yeah, man, it's been good chatting with you, brother. Peace out

We even had this I used to be a part of this anime group. We were all into anime, and we would share up to date information, new information about anime. And that was pretty much the geek table. There are actually two geek tables. You had like the Digimon Pokemon or whatever table, and then you have the anime. So, yeah, very interesting times

Hey, it is JL. To answer your question about what it looks like at work, I'm more in a in an administrative leadership type position. That's the only way I can think to describe it. I essentially work in compliance on a legal floor for the health system. And so pretty much everyone has their own offices. And then a good number of people do a hybrid rotation of remote work and then coming into the office

Hey, sue. Good morning and happy Thanksgiving. Yeah, it sounds like at work that you're in this position where you have to make them feel comfortable. You've been there for seven and a half months. Yeah. It sounds like, you know, you have to make make them feel comfortable. You have to make them feel that you're just like them. Yeah

And we weren't allowed to leave campus unless we had a vehicle. And we were a senior, so spent a lot of lunch periods in the bathroom because we weren't allowed to just sit in the hallways either. For the library. It was very

Hey. Seekin plum. Thank you for replying to this swell. Yes. You know, human beings not being always tribal, you know, I guess that makes sense, right? Especially when there is only very little of us. There weren't really too many human beings going around for us to even be segregated. Right. We were like a very small population on Earth, I think as we spread throughout the world, we started developing our own identity, our own culture. Right

@mpress787

Hey, I want to thank you for replying to The Swell. Yeah, it sounds like they were already creating division, right? They're gifted and talented people. They have their own group. So, yeah, you're kind of being forced into this tribalism way of, I guess, being around each other, being around your classmates. I'm sorry. So there was some tribalism going on here, right
@SeekingPlumb

@OmegaStrange

And so I think, again, it all depends on how one defines tribalism and tribes and so on. So I probably going to answer your question by saying, no, I don't think of myself that way. But that's all a matter of perspective, because I might say that, but somebody else from the outside might say differently. Not to mention if your perspective is that all humans are tribal, well, then how else can I answer that question, right?

I was investigating to see patterns, and from what you have told me, those patterns seem to be common throughout our society, throughout the entire world. Right. But, yeah, I wasn't looking for you there's to tell me that. Oh, yes. I am Tribal. No, not at all. Not at all. Seeking Plum. But, yeah, it's been good chatting with you. You take care of peace
