Biggest Cricket Shock of 2022: Ireland beat West Indies in the Caribbean- ODI series
So for us Irish people who love cricket and who had years and years and years of Ireland never being any good at cricket, we're not doing too badly now may not be all certainly terribly good at test cricket, but this has been a great win, and they did it even though one of their opening bats, I think it was Paul Sterling who's a terrific player. He got bold in the first ball of the match, the first ball of the Irish innings. So there we are

And I think this coupled Ireland beat West Indies in the something that I'm very excited about. And I'd really like to see how these teams emerge in the next year or so because the World Cups around the corner and you'll never know. You could see a few teams not performing that well. And on their day, I think Ireland is quite a formidable side. So I'd like to see how the next few series is going to go and how they are going to approach to woke up

No, not I nearly said Ireland beating England, but Ireland bowling England out for I think it was 87 in the first innings at Lord's two years ago when a guy called Merta, Irish medium fast bowler, got something like seven wickets. I was there for day two of that at Test match, but I guess I was carried away with enthusiasm for the shock Ireland created by winning a series against the West Indies.
