Things could be worse I could be much worse Stranded in Cork Airport eating sausages and potato cakes, dried white pudding and fried bacon slices, chilled Orange juice with Americano by Nest cuff a disaster of a flight to Manchester a swollen little throbbing toe, a lame gaze I could be much worse I could be frozen in Ukraine maimed in Ukraine my home destroyed in Ukraine, parched, starved, wounded, blind, deaf I could be a nightmare walking from gutter through ice and mud past unmilted cows, crippled donkeys, chickens ready for Wolves, wet with weather that would drown an earthworm excremental trudge to the border between Saturn, devouring his son Peter and some hope of at least an annual Salvation

So I appreciate the art of this, the courage of this, the rawness of this. And it's so powerful to hear it in your voice and hear it here and hear it now. And it will be in my ear. And when I want to hear it again, I'll just hang play. That's all I have to say. No words. No words. You said the words. Thank you so much

I think we need to make ourselves the best version of ourselves and try to help of others as well, too. So I think this post really gives us insight into what we should and can do for each other

Paul. I just got back on swell. I'm trying to understand how to use it. I'm not having a very easy time, but so I'm so, so happy that I came upon this incredible poem that you wrote. It's just beautiful and sad and horrible. Thank you

But the only thing that matters to me right now, Ray, is how satisfying, how pleasing, how good it is to hear that you found it and that you have something to say and what you've said. It sounds perfect to me, since to me, things are getting worse day after day getting worse. This is going to be a pretty horrible week. That's. Well

The Stoic meditation that there are always people or situations that can be worse than the one you're in. Not that you wish those upon those above the others who are suffering a worse fate. But just a reminder to yourself that as compared to any others you have, it pretty darn good
