Hank Aaron: American Treasure and Baseball Icon

At the end of his career, he was a 25 time All Star, which ranks as the most people have played in an All Star Game. He was all except his first year and his last year he was in the All Star Game. He does have a World Series Championship. In 1957, he led the Milwaukee Braves to the World Series. He was the NL MVP in 1957 as well

And a couple of Dodgers to note, David Lopez actually shakes his hand as he's about to round second base and the left fielder that day climbing the wall trying to get at the home run was Bill Buckner. And Red Sox fans will definitely remember that man. But here's the $700 15th home run, as called by Ben Scully

Phil, thank you so much for sharing this. I did not know that Hinkaron had just passed away. So this is the first that I heard of it, and I'm genuinely just very, very sad. I mean, this was a guy who I obviously did not get to see play, but was a hero to me growing up as somebody who was playing baseball. And he was the ultimate badass to me
