The first time I ate this, I hated it. Now, I swear by it...
I didn't used to like that particular vegetable because it's kind of very unpleasant to eat when it's just raw. Even after cooking it, the taste doesn't change much unless you put in certain ingredients that transfer the taste or maybe transform it. But now I do like it a lot. Specifically in chinese and indian cuisine bouts, because there are certain things that you like. Hakka noodles, kadhai paneer. Those are my favorites with that

Your pizza pocket story actually reminded me of my pizza story. I remember watching the Domino's advertisements when I was young. I was probably in class two or three at that time, and Domino's was just becoming a thing amongst people. And the cheesy pizzas, they did look very tempting. So I used to, you know, pester my parents a lot to buy me one to let me try once. And when they did, I. I hated it

Alright, two questions here. What decade or what year are you talking about? Here and where exactly? I mean, which place? Because I remember that different states and different cities had a different quality in the same brand of pizza. This was long back. Not currently. So just answer me this. What time and what place?

Okay. So time would be somewhere around 2010, 2012, maybe when I was ten or twelve years old. And places, Kolkata. I mean, you know, here, Domino's pizza hut, everyone makes amazing pizza, but I think it was just, you know, me not liking it. That's, that's the thing. I mean, I think cheese, to a great extent, is an acquired taste

Probably you then, because the time I was thinking about was early 2005 or six. Reason being that was the time that Pizza Hut was introduced to the rest of India. It was usually in metro cities before that, if I'm not wrong. But it was introduced to the rest. And people tried tampering some places with the recipe, because I remember it tasted very different in the south than in the north. I've never gone to the West Bengal side. I've only gone to the east

Well, good to know that you were on the same boat and yeah I think since Kolkata is a metro city so I guess pizza was introduced in Kolkata more or less at the same time it was introduced in the other metro cities like Delhi and you know, Bangalore maybe. But again, I mean I don't think it was the taste was tampered because now when I look back I think it tasted very similar. Similar to what I have now
