Random write… just one of those days
The day is a testing dry first, each hour parched in a slow burn departure. Minutes singed in phosphorus tinged time, each word a husk frazzled haphazard the drag of tumble weed on an arid tongue hapless and scattered on the exhausted hiss of dehydrated wind. I wear the shield of disheveled leather skin with the hubris of a weathered hag, for I have been seasoned on the searing savannahs of harsh times
