How do you workout ALONE?

Hello, swell community. I hope you're doing all good. I do have a question for you all. I wanted to know if there are other people just like me who have the difficulty to do and sports by themselves all alone, emphasis on alone, because I find it easier to do workouts with other people or with instructor. So that's not really the problem

How do you motivate yourself by doing #sports all alone? Do you tend to do sport alone or with other people & how do you keep the #motivation going?

I'll go by myself, but it helps to have other people around who are motivated and it inspires me to do the same. Something else I like is the Nike Training app. It has workout routines that you can sort by muscle group or type of workout or how long you want to go for. And that's really nice when I don't want to come up with exercise ideas on my own

This is a really great idea. And regarding the gym, when I went to University, there was a gym nearby and I went there sometimes and that was really useful and really great to have this possibility because we students didn't pay that much. But nowadays I'm not going to the gym anymore. So I really want to be more strict with myself in doing workouts alone. But maybe in the future I will go to the gym again and working out with other people is always the best to do

Totally correctly. I wish you good luck with your pursuit of trying to work out more and yeah, definitely. I think one of the most important things is to definitely reward yourself. I feel like that has been most helpful to me because then you start to get this craving and the sensation of wanting to go to the gym so that you can get this reward. And it's kind of playing a trick on your mind, but it hurts for the battery. So yeah, good luck

Hey, if I talk about myself so it doesn't really matter for me whether I go to the gym or I'm working out at my home alone. So just because but there there is a specific thing that I personally prefer myself to work out at home alone just because whenever I go to the gym I focus on the other people's eyes, which Hexa is doing. Whether this exercise is effective for me also or not

Thank you, Martine, for joining. I can totally understand you focusing on other people exercise. Wellbeing in the gym is something that I do, too, which I shouldn't, because then I start to think and that's not good at all. All. I'm a big thinker. So that's really not here. So I totally understand you choosing to want to exercise by yourself because at the very end, one is more I focus that way. Yeah

Okay. I definitely find it really hard to get motivated when I'm by myself, but I mean, honestly, my biggest thing is music. I just like, as long as I have a good song going, and I also like to have a variety of different things. And so I won't stay on the treadmill for maybe like 6 miles or so

Nature and podcasts!

I'm off my phone and it kind of just allows you to be in your own zone for an hour. I also find that being in nature is a really nice way to motivate because not only are you working out, but you're surrounded by trees and flowers and fresh air and it's nice if you just need to get out of being inside for a little bit
