Uncle Remus movie "Song of the South" - "Zip-a-dee-doo-dah"
Hello swell community. Do you actually remember Uncle Uncle Remus movies? Song of the south and it's song zipadi Dooda. Well, basically it goes like this. Zipadi. What a wonderful day plenty of Sunshine hiding my way tippety dude. Yeah Mr. Bluebirds on my shoulder. It's the truth. It's actual. Everything is satisfaction. Wonderful day. This movie is about racism and the civil rights movements
So I was doing some reading. And as it turns out, the last time the film was ever played in the United States in a theater was for its 40th anniversary. So it was also to celebrate the opening of Splash Mountain, which Ironically well, not Ironically, but it is closing, I believe, this year because of the troubled history with the source material. And then I also looked at whether or not Europe had the same experience with the film
And thinking back about this movies, yes, well, one could say that slavery was portrayed in a too positive way, but the story itself is nice because it's about a child finding a good, wise, caring friend and learning about life through stories and animations. I also think that this movie actually was pushing diversity in the 50s, and it also tells the importance of storytelling to children. So I think that this movie shouldn't have been banned

Hey Nora, I also grew up watching this movie and the Zippity Dooda song my mother would play on the piano. We would sing it together. So my family grew up with this song, and I think I would have seen the movies on television or perhaps in a theater as a child. However, I just wanted to clarify a few things. The movies is not about the civil rights movement or racism
