Fighting Patriarchy😤

article image placeholderUploaded by @Nishtha_10
So we all talk about patriarchy in politics, workplace, education, institution and social spaces and how to defy it. But the most toxic patriarchal control is the one that drives in families, which often gets ignored as personal matters. So I thought of discussing some ways where we can smash the patriarchy at our own. So first off would be start the conversation. We should be able to start the conversation of equality and feminism and make it familiar to our inmates. It's just a start

Yes, I understand your points, Nishtha. And for me, what is patriarchy? Patriarchy is not mean. Patriarchy is a system in which both women and men participate. It privileges, interalia the interest of boys and men over the bodily integrity, autonomy and dignity of girls and women. It is subtle, insidious, and never more dangerous than when women passionately deny that they themselves are engaging in it. Thank you. Bye

Both of them are sometimes suffered by patriarchy. It's just that mostly we have came across the cases in which we have seen women suffering more. So people have just figured out that maybe patriarchy is just related to women. But actually it's not
