Happiness??

article image placeholderUploaded by @NimishaDhami
Hi, guys. Good evening. So I was going through my folders, my very old folders, and I found a quote that I wrote. Not even a quote, I mean, just a line that I wrote a long time ago. And it says that the problem is that people think that happiness is a destination when it's a feeling which comes and goes. So what do you guys think about it? Is it really just a destination? Or maybe there's more to it

What are your thoughts?

Happiness is not the destination, it is the journey

And I believe that to be very true, because at the end of certain results of what you have done in procuring that happiness that we long for, I think it's important to remember that, how we got to that result, the steps we have taken, the roads we have crossed, and there's always the concept of people being happy here, which I think is moot because you can always be happy here with a different perspective, with a different route you take, with a different method you use

We feel that finally if one day we achieve everything, it will be a state of mind where we'll not be sad at all. But that's not true yet. I think it is possible for happiness, or let's just say sadness, to stay away from us because we can always be less happy and more happy like that. That only comes with maturity and satisfaction when you are spiritually alive and living your best life with all your sins, awake and conscious living with the poise
