What was your introduction to zombie films? Remembering the cult zombie classic " Night Of The Comet" release 1984

What is up? Everybody out there in swell cast land. It's Neil D back with another film segment on film talk. And I wanted to talk about zombie films today just because why not? A lot of people are surprised to hear that my introduction to zombie films was not George Ramireo, The Master, the OG, the godfather of zombie films. Although I do love George Romero, and I have met him, and he was a very sweet man

Talking zombie films: What is the first zombie film you saw and what impact did it have on you for horror?

And I want to start. I'm not sure really, even where to begin. I guess the original Night of the Living Dead. But maybe I'll start with the Romero stuff. So I think the next one is what whatever that one is in 78, I think is the next one, right. But anyways, yeah. So that's my take on the zombie film genre

So definitely check out Night of the Comet came out in like I said, people were surprised to see that that was my introduction to zombie films because I wasn't aware of the Ramiro stuff was earlier and I was too young. So I caught neither. The comment on cable fell in love with that. And then I went back and researched and saw Ramiro films, and I believe One of the Dead was the first one I saw

And I know that you're sort of an aficionado when it comes to all horror flicks, so maybe you could recommend a good few that I haven't seen. Most of the big ones, pretty much all the big ones I've seen. But I just love every moment of zombie films, and I'm really looking forward to the new Jackson and film

Hey, I'm going to throw in one here, guys. Zombies, the musical by Disney, my sweet, sweet Milo, Mannheim Stars and zombies. Zombies two. And Zombies 3218 was the first first one. He had a screening at his high school. It was so exciting. And he's a terribly talented boy now, man. And I saw Zombies the first one. And I loved it. And all these people with green faces were singing. And that's my zombie story

@Taylor

I would definitely consider them zombie films because they are Walking dead. Whether they're dead or infected with something. They're definitely zombies. Not a lot of people consider Night of the comedy zombie flick, but it is. There are people that got infected with a comment and turned into a zombies, so no argument there with me, my friend. I do like that series as far as aficionado are recommending. Don't know. I do love zombie films
