The latest controversy surrounding Kevin Smith’s latest project , the reboot of He-Man Revelations.

I don't know much on it, but from a controversial standpoint, he promised them that he man himself would appear, and apparently he doesn't appear in the full episode. So I think that is bait and switching and promising your fan base and your audience something and not delivering on it. Fans, I guess, were in an uproar in an outrage, and they had pretty much bashed Smith on this on every level. Are they oversensitive and over exaggerating? I don't know

Smith promised a reboot centering around the main character He-Man but delivers something completely different. Setting an outraged fan base.

Okay, so I did watch it. I watched it the night that it dropped. I watched all five episodes back to back. Let me begin because I have to begin here. I think he Man and the Masters of the Universe is perhaps one of the laziest dumbest properties ever created. This was a giant toy commercial. It's well established, but it almost feels like it was created by children. This is Heman. And then this guy over here, he's a beast

And like I said, I was going into the second hand and kind of ignorant on it, but I just wanted to make a post to see how people felt again. I liked the earlier Kevin Smith. There's definitely a difference in him, which happens when you get more noticed and involved in Hollywood, in the filmmaking scene and that business by nature

That's what I'm trying to say here right now. So for me, as I said, I never liked this series. I never liked anything for me. This worked because at least well, when I say work, let me clarify. It was infinitely better than the Filmation series to me, which I don't like at all. So we're not setting a high bar here. I'm just saying it was fine when I tell people, oh, you've got to see it

In a way like the old days, man, you don't have to just constantly impound your views and a message in every d*** thing. So I agree with you. Just make a badass chick kicking some major a** with a great story, and we're all good

Oh, and one more thing, average Joe. I forgot my last reply. That God awful plum, purple and not a cool looking purple colored suit jacket that he wears in them shorts with them slip on fake imitation vans with that white flat rimmed baseball cap. Man Kevin Smith, get a new wardrobe. For Crimes sake. That outfit is God awful that he wears

You know, man, I have to agree to agree with you. I try to not think about that purple blazer and that baseball hat too much in the shorts. I mean, what? Like, don't get it. So when you were the big, heavy Kevin Smith, we only had the hockey jerseys and the hat and the Jordan, I guess. But now skinny Kevin has to wear a purple, oversized f****** blazer because it doesn't even fit properly

Oh, and now that you got me thinking about this, the hat he said he admitted he wears because he's lost a considerable amount of his hair. And when you do see him without the hat, he admits that he's got a hair system in place. There's some kind of attachment going on, right? Because he said he had to do a photo shoot so they didn't want him in the hat. So they put other system on him

It's almost like if Barney was a middle aged man that wore a white hat backwards, that's the Kevin Smith look right now, which is kind of funny with the generic fake vans, too. As if the man can't buy real vans, he could probably buy thousands of peers. Who knows? He probably could get them for free. And the crying game thing that he has going on
