The film would have fallen off the rails, I believe, if not for the focused and slightly insane acting of Nic Cage, which keep in mind he has no dialogue, which is quite amazing, and I believe that only Nicholas Cage could pull off the entire movie without one single ounce of dialogue, just with his tics and his facial expressions. And I got to say, this is one of the most badass roles I've ever seen
