Are we headed for civil war?

"…Hey, you know, there's been a lot of talks lately, a lot of chatter about, you know, this country possibly going into a civil war due to the elections coming up in November. What do you all think about that? Do you really believe that our country is that close to civil war? Give me your thoughts.…"

"…And you look for a technology and you think, how can this change things? So it's only natural for you to begin thinking about how one thing affects another in a domino fashion, starting around the time when Occupy Wall Street was there, the 2007 crash. That's when I started to look around and realize that historically speaking, we seem to be repeating the patterns of the early 20th century.…"

And there's a podcast called I Believe it's called It Could Happen Here. And it's a journalist who has spent his career studying civil wars in other countries. And he outlines how it begins, how it happens now.…"

"…That's a good question. I just saw an article I think In The Nation or somewhere where the headline read was a book written by somebody saying that the nation was founded on disunity like that's the actual foundation. And I don't agree with that at all. And I don't want that to be or if there's disagreement over the election either. I don't think that's productive anyway, I don't support that.…"

"…One of the things I don't think it's going to be like a polarizing war. I think there is a lot of frustration that will boil over, possibly obviously and understandably. And I don't think it's going to be between, like or Republicans or Democrats or hopefully not racial or anything. I think it's a class war, if anything, that is where the frustration is coming from.…"

Civil war or ....? Who is fighting whom? Besides Trump v media, lose-lose.

And then when machines can work 24 hours a day, seven days a week, they don't need benefits, they don't need vacations, they don't need anything. The lowest, uneducated humans are not even worthy of being a slave at that point. So what happens then?…"

But people just didn't want to make that hard choice because that is a hard choice. War is always hard. It should always be a last resort. But it's always a hard decision to make. But sometimes you just got to make that decision because to do something outside of that, you can best believe nature is going to correct itself.…"

With this pandemic raging for the first time, I really fear that he's going to successfully rig the election and retain onto his power unless the Democrats retain the House and take over the Senate with enough margins. I don't see this going anywhere in such a scenario.…"

That's my two sense of this. I think there is another way of going about this. Americans still don't need to destroy each other. You don't need to arise from the Ashes. So that's it. For now. This is York from the Poetic Earthlings podcast.…"

Things never fully got resolved. People are stealing their feelings about that. I live in the south right now. I live in Georgia, so I'm privy to it. I see it every day.…"

Let me share this with you. In 1860s, 98% of black people worked for white people. In 2020, 98% of black people worked work for white people. So Where's the progress.…"

So I have a question for you on that. Is that what you really, really see? Or is that what they want you to see? Or is that what you really want to see? I think if you answer all these three questions truthfully, you'll find an answer a clarification on just that specific topic.…"

And in response to that, my answer is that not that they shouldn't be taken down a peg or two, but that we change the system of hierarchy and power as we understand it because I'm a big thinker and I think outside the lines of reality sometimes, but I definitely genuinely believe that.…"

Is it to foster to motivate industrial growth or give all the leeway to bosses? And if they exploit people, it doesn't matter. There is a lot of socalled, peaceful protesters that are creating tremendous violence. They're burning down buildings. They're even intimidating residents in their home. There is changes that needs to be made in the States. There is. But this is just not the way to go about it. And the news media doesn't help.…"

That's how they want us to keep responding, shoot us in the back, kill us in the streets. But then you n***** need to react nonviolently. That's what they want.
