And so that is the family he claims. He claims his current wife's daughter. I think she has a daughter and a son or maybe a daughter from a previous relationship. He claims that young lady as his daughter and the son that they have together. He does not claim his previous four children. Now, the mystery in all of this is what happened. Now, some of that lies with the children. If the children are not forgiving, if the children still hold resentment or anger or bitterness towards their parent for not being that loving, caring, nurturing, supportive parent that they're seeing now, I get that it's not entirely up to the parent to repair that relationship, but, wow. If any of you guys out there are in a blended family situation or have been in a situation like this, help me to understand

In fact, I have a friend, I was talking to her about my stepmom, and she tried to correct me and said, oh, no, you mean your dad's wife. I said, what do you mean, my dad's wife? Well, you know, they're older now. I said, no, no, no. I was like seven when he married her. So that's my stepmother

And that's interesting that you mentioned Monique and Kirk, and I believe Mike Epps is doing the same thing as well. I don't know any of their reasons because I'm not in their home, but it is a disgusting kind of trend that I am seeing and, okay, I'll be balanced here. We do get older, and as we get older, we're supposed to mature. Okay. That's understandable. It doesn't mean you have to disown your first family

Or it could be also another situation where your parents not around a lot and you feel, you know, you feel cheated that you didn't get as much time or, you know, they weren't there for you in the way that you wanted them to be

Whereas the older children got the overworked, underpaid dad that was tired, that was angry all the time or the dad that wasn't mature enough to be a home, you know, somebody that stayed home with the family, he liked to still party, he liked to still run the street, so they didn't see him

It seems unfair, and it feels unfair to older children to see the best version of their father or mother being played out with their younger siblings, whereas they feel like, as the older siblings, they got the shaft
I've got you all the way to adulthood, and you're still telling me what I didn't do and how I didn't do because the relationship didn't work. Yes, he has moved on. He has found someone who's made him happy. They did have kids together. And like you said, you do learn. We learn that from our own parent. You know, I watch my mom as a young woman have me at 21 years old

And so I've always followed along with what was going on with him, even to the point to where, when he started introducing his kids, Brian and Nico, you know, I started following them, you know, see what they were about years ago. And, um, I think we're only getting, like, little clips. And people think that the love of a parent is an unveiling love, and they're gonna love their kids no matter what

It's, um. It could become disheartening and hurting to hear your own kids talk bad about you when all you've done will take care of them. I mean, he couldn't spend the time with him because look at what he was doing. And I'm pretty sure he kind of did what he could do or the best he could do with all he was doing. But, you know, kids like, hey, we should never be cut off. You should always be doing this
