Woman Fired from 190K job for posting on social media too much

article image placeholderUploaded by @MsColes77
One thing about me, I don't post anything about work on social media. I don't post where I work. I don't post anything regarding what happened at work that day, good or bad. I don't even post about my day as far as work is concerned. I put very limited personal information on my social media profiles and I'm very limited in how much I talk about my own personal life on social media

And you would have think because of how much money she was making. So that means that she has some education and then she has some time on the job that she would have known better. But we do allow social media to take over our lives. And I will say this too. Everything that you receive at your job, other people may not be receiving it

I would be excited too, because she said in her video that there were a lot of things she enjoyed about the job, and so she was probably just very excited about it, and she decided to talk about it, but unfortunately, she disregarded whatever company policies they had. She was excessive with her social media use. It had been addressed before, and so she was basically being careless, and she fumbled the bag with this opportunity. So it's very unfortunate. Hopefully she's learned from it

And so it would be reckless for one of the doctors to get on a social media platform and brag about all the perks that they are getting as doctors while the rest of us who feel like we work hard too. How come we don't get access to this or how come we don't get this kind of discount? Or how come we're not getting free? Whatever. And so, yeah, you're right. It can definitely cause some issues there

And so you don't need to know what's going on in my personal life that has no bearing or effect on the way I do my job. And when people find out about your personal life and then something happens on the job, then they always want to wish she going through this in her personal life. Yeah, no, never, ever. Not going to happen. Not for me. And then the other thing is, especially nowadays, jobs are using people's social media against them
