This Soft Guy Era 🙄 #drizzledrizzle

article image placeholderUploaded by @MsColes77
But men have kind of hijacked this movement and made it more materialistic. And then they're, like, following up with this hashtag, drizzledrizzle, which to me sounds very sus. But anywho, I think it's ridiculous, this whole situation. It's funny, I guess, in some ways when guys are throwing it back at women so that women can see how ridiculous it sounds when it, when they're hearing it from women

It's been a while since a black woman was able to voice her grievances anywhere about how she just wants to rest. And so black women who say they just want to rest, they were degraded, humiliated, and. Excuse me. And the men made fun of them or became very negative and very acidic because how dare you, as a black woman, ask for rest, you know? So now we have, what is it? Drizzle. Drizzle

Morning, Tanya. I listened to your swell and, you know, I think it's ridiculous too. I mean, we have life with purpose or we're supposed to live life with purpose. Anyway. I think it's just anxiety being immature and not being raised correctly. You know, this is why I stopped dating, because it sucks. And I'm just like, okay, when God finds somebody from me, he'll be there

So if you look at the soft guy era now, I'm looking at it in a sense where it's like, it's not so much of, like, the men wanting to be pampered the same way the women do, but more so, like, just that whole equality thing, you know? And if, dude. And, you know, the women, they have a right to feel the way they feel

If I tell you that most men, and when I say most, this means more than 50%, there's more women than men in the entire world. Most men, meaning more than probably 60 or 70% of men, are five, nine and shorter. So you got this small, very small percentage of men who are 6ft and over. But more than 70% of women want a man who's 6ft. Now we know realistically that numbers don't lie

You know, if there are more women than men, then I guess it would make more sense that the women who are in, especially the black communities, they're left to rear and take care of the children mostly. And the communities are typically ran by them. So I stand on that. But I have to agree with you that women have to get real as well. Thank you

But when it gets to the point where a woman likes you, she won't even step up to you and tell you anything. Like, she'll smile at you or whatever, but majority of women won't even come and tell you that, you know, I'm really interested in you. I like you. You know, I think that maybe I'd like to take you out. Sometimes that don't happen. Why? Because what? That's not feminine

You're getting your nails and toes done once a month, unless you're crazy and you go back and change colors and styles all the time. But most people, once a month to get their nails done. Most people getting their hair done. If you get it braided, you're only getting your hair done every couple of months. I mean, that's really it. So it's not even. It's not like these men would be financing this type of stuff every week

@MrDee

But no, we're not running around here with a measuring stick trying to see how tall these men are. We're not out here trying to, you know, get the height of every man we talk to to make sure he hits that six foot threshold. So that's. That's reaching a bit. And the thing is, you know, men are always so quick to talk about women and. And their exaggerated requirements. But men have exaggerated requirements, too

Hey, Al, thank you so much for your response. You know, like I said, in the original soft girl era, it was never about what men could do for a woman. It was about women saying, I want to live a life of ease. I'm tired of working all these jobs. I'm tired of supporting myself. I'm tired of the hustle and grind

And, like you, I'm tired of it. I'm over it. It's immature. It's not funny anymore. Not that it was ever funny to begin with, but it's really not funny anymore. It's starting to get old. It's starting to get stale. And, like you, I am just over it. Thank you so much

And so. But like I told Mister D, I do stand. I do understand where he was coming from as far as people having unrealistic expectations. And. But I also said that men have unrealistic expectations as well, because these women, they're getting these disproportionate bodies for a reason. They're listening to what men are saying on podcasts. They're listening to what men are saying in their rap songs, so called love songs, general conversations. They're listening in

Hey, sis, I wanted to throw my phone when I was listening to your response. I really did. Especially when you so eloquently stated how we got a lot of men out here already living the soft guy era. And you are so right. We already got some men out here that's living in their girlfriend's apartment while she goes to work all day

But that was funny, though, when you said that she needs to keep an eye on her man and asking you, have you seen him? That's odd. That's weird. You know that? Mm mm. I'm like sister girl, don't put me in that position. Please don't put me in that position. I'm not the watchdog for your relationship. Oh, my goodness. But anyway, yeah, you're welcome. Great topic

And when I'm finished, I'm out. But that's not how it is. These cats just simp out, spend their money, spend their money, spend their money thinking that that's gonna get them closer to the woman, and it doesn't. It just makes them spend their money

Or I may have a little special stuff in a room or, you know, stuff like that. Or I might buy just little things. But I'm not gonna depend on a man, and I'm not gonna give me my money, so if you call me. And I actually was dating this guy one time, and he was. He. He knew how I was, but he tried me, and he was like, yeah, I need someone

So I've found rings, bracelets, all kinds of. I just give it to her here. When I see things I buy. Why, I look at your hair. I'm your man. I can see now my baby need her hair done. Let me sit again here playing around with her, holding her hand. You look at her nails. Let me take my baby. Let me get her nails done or whatever. Why? Because that's your love. That's your woman
