Hyperfocusing On Our Emotions

article image placeholderUploaded by @MsColes77
I think we've just become consumed with emotions and tapping into those emotions and sitting in those emotions instead of working of them. Thank you so much

It. Definitely some interesting food for thought. Yeah. You know, I could really relate to this. It's really interesting to me because not only just about emotions, but a lot of things in general. As a society, we've become more aware of many things, and so it's really great. On the one hand, we are more aware of things, we acknowledge more things. But it's a double edged sword, which is pretty much what you're saying

Sister Coles, I want to thank you for bringing up the particular topic about anxiety. I don't mean to get gospel or spread the gospel about it, but this is how it's going to go. Basically. In the book of Philippians, chapter four, verse six, it says, don't be anxious about anything, but in every situation by prayer and petition with Thanksgiving present your request to God

So thank you so much for sharing this wonderful thought with us. Yes. We shouldn't be really focusing upon emotionality all the time because there are so many other things that we need to keep in our priority. We need to be focusing on so many other things, other aspects of life as well. So thank you for bringing up such an important topic

Hey, Tanya, I think that this is such an interesting topic to bring up, and I'm really glad that you kind of started this conversation, because it's something that I often think about as well. As a child, I had a really hard time understanding and putting a name to my emotions. And that was a really interesting thing that my parents then had to navigate for everyone involved. Solved

And the thing about emotions that we don't sort of give enough recognition to is that there are the soul and the physical reaction to a belief or narrative. And I think it's incredibly important to pay attention to them because they get to the root of what we believe. And our beliefs shape everything from our intention to our motivations to how we move around ethically and bump into each other
