And this is just something that the both of us, my dad included, have been sort of counting down the days for so much so that when I brought it up to my dad tonight, who's a bit older and doesn't really follow all of the release dates and whatnot he pretty much screamed in excitement. So I'll start by saying that I think this movie did a lot of things really well, particularly the world building. I thought that there were some incredibly smart choices. They really made Kong feel like this King. They did. And the Hollow Earth Theory element of this film was something that I was really not expecting in the sense that I felt like it was a very ambitious move, and they pulled it off really well

In this case, the entire subplot with Millie, Bobby Brown and Brian Tyree Henry's characters and the kid from Deadpool Two whose name I'm not remembering right now it was horrendously forced. And I think every single aspect of it could have probably been accomplished by Alexander Scarsgard's character and the young girl. That is one of the last I think Iwi people that is using sign language to communicate with Kong, and it served no purpose
