Tenet was a strange experience that left me feeling energized but also deflated.

That being said, it's a movie that I would certainly never recommend to the vast majority of people that I come across in my daily life. It is horrendously convoluted. I'm not saying it's impossible to understand. I'm not saying that I'm smarter than somebody because they might not understand it. What I am saying is I don't think that this is a movie that average Joe casual moviegoer should go see or really will enjoy outside of watching maybe some big explosions and cool special effects

Christopher Nolan...what do you think of his latest film?

Thanks, Taylor. I always love your posts. I think they're very interesting. So I appreciate that I have not seen this film. I've not seen a lot of Nolan's films, but the ones that I have seen are, as you say, is Horrendously Convoluted, which would be a funny review. Actually, I like that. I like the convoluted aspect of it because it's a mind trip

@goatea

I feel at this point is 2001 because I feel like sort of my comment earlier kind of hinted at this a bit, but a lot of the fans of Nolan sort of put him in that same sphere with Kubrick and with people like Martin Scorsese. When I don't really see it, I just don't see the comparisons outside of maybe some of the technical decisions that they make

I was aware of the movies had a lot of buzz, and I was aware that this was going to be one of Nolan's pet projects. Not like a franchise thing. Nolan has often said in terms of cinematic storytelling, he doesn't break the rules here. He writes them. Breaking rules is not as interesting as changing them. So that's what I was expecting. And that's what I got. I really did enjoy the movies, although, like you said, it was pretty straightforward

I started watching Tenet one night and then I realized that I cannot. I need to watch it with a clear mind and a blackboard by my side. So the next morning I woke up and after doing the chores I sat towards watch it. I watched it. And in the Meanwhile I took some notes down, so to understand the firm in one go, it was a good try, but I couldn't, so I had to watch it again and it was absolutely mind blowing
