Where Is This All Headed?

You. Hey, guys. So I was actually getting ready to do my regular book talk. I usually do book reviews because it's kind of fun. And, you know, I really love reading. And I was going to do a series because one of the people that followed me wanted me to start covering some of the series that are some of my favorites. So I was going to start with Hunger Games

But this book was written in 1985, and the fact that it happened to resemble or point to certain things happening today is just the nature of Sci-Fi and fantasy. Right? Another one I just read and finished recently for the first time, 1984, by Orson Wells. Like, holy shit. I don't understand how we have all of these people not only recognizing the patterns, but putting them into ways of communicating, whether it's data and it's scientists

As if people haven't been obsessed with the Terminator movie since the company built Skynet. And we're all just kind of like, oh, well, no one cares. I don't know what it is. And to your point about 1984 and books like that, I think there was a quote that I heard a long time ago, if you want to hide the most precious secrets in humanity, just put them in a book, because nobody reads anymore

But as a result, that means we've now marked that planet in this way without much thought. Right. How many other plants have we had? My brain is not working today. The only words that come to mind are satellites and drones, but essentially things that fly around planets, and then they crash land. And so then we're leaving trash detritus on different surfaces, and same thing, we're doing the same thing, and we haven't learned anything
