And due to the one going out and leaving, the vet decided to scratch the one horse. But then the tote system for all the bedding decided that because the vet said, scratch the one. They scratched the one out of the tote. And because of that, they had to go to a different post time favorite. All those bets get moved and you can't reverse it

The Breeders Cup, they announced, well, we have to go by ChrV rules, so talk to them and deal with it. At least that's the way I read it. There was an apology in there somewhere, but it wasn't Hardfelt. They started with the finger pointing and then the ChrV. I cannot truly believe what they did. They really put a huge middle finger to us all. They released a statement immediately after they call a meeting, and they give us non facts

I don't know how that would work, but I'm interested to see how that comes out, too, because if they could insert the horse again, why couldn't he just go back the wagering pools? I don't know. I thought it was very big black guy in the industry that doesn't need more black eyes. And all the bad stuff happens in California that they let a lame horse run at San Bernita in Mongolian groom

No, because they're going to win a million dollars stakes race, and they'll give you your $1,000 every stink in time. But then you turn around, find the crap out of the jockeys. It's getting out of hand. This has got to stop. Somebody needs to fix problem

And while he recognizes that's not quite as simple with a big race day at Del Mar, there should at least be a conversation about it. So as a brief follow up, this is not going to go away way even the people in the know inside of racing thought that that was just a complete debacle to use your word, Mitch, so I fully expect more to come on this
