The house isn't clean, the dishes isn't done, the kids are home for the summer and there's just a lot happening. But I love to do this thing and it's called anchoring, where I focus on one thing that's my anchor. Usually it's my breath. And I just take a moment and I just focus on that, just taking deep breaths in and feeling the air as it comes in and out of my nostril as it fills up my lungs

For those days or moments that make you feel anxious try this simple trick. #findcalm #simpletips

Hey, welcome to swell. And thank you for this. I really like the even just the image of an anchor is really calming and soothing. It's like, just for a second, be here. I think breath is also mine. I think putting my feet on the ground, like, planting myself, is also a way of, like, okay, recalibrate. Feel the ground or the floor underneath you and just exhale and just be

Hi, makita. Thank you so much for your message. Ann, anchoring. I am a mother of four children. Ann of course, I work full time, and so your message really resonates deeply within myself, because that's exactly how my weekends go. I have a list, and I'm like, got to get this done. I got to get that done

You. Thank you for the invite. You know, balance is always needed, especially when you have children, because, you know, as as a mother, we can get caught up in our children and what they need and what we need to do as mothers. And then it kind of takes you away from yourself and you focus in on yourself
