Your motivation for change
Good morning. Swell Casters. This is Michelle Calderigi. I'm an executive coach, and I help people make career transitions. So oftentimes, when I have a new client, we talk about why they want to make the change, what is compelling them in this moment or at this time to make this change. So we need to uncover the real why, so that making the change makes sense. So the first question is why? What's motivating you?

Oh, thank you so much for answering my questions and engaging in my swell cast. I love hearing about what you're doing and what you're passionate about. And I totally get it that sometimes you just have to enter at a different pace, and that's totally okay. I found that when, 25 years ago, when I first started doing this, that I needed to build sort of my subject matter and the model and the way I was going to help people. So I get that

But what I want to do is talk, encourage and motivate, and I don't want it to be on just one topic. And I think my concern is it being engaging. So I did identify my why. I did this exercise prior to speaking with you here, identified my why, and I wrote my why down. Then I also get this
You. I'm so glad that you're doing this work and thank you for kind of filling in some of the blanks. So here's my response to you. Keep doing what you're doing, because one of the things that will happen is as you start talking with more people and meeting with more people, there may be certain themes that that start to rise to the top for you in terms of subject matter and in terms of what you were talking about
