RUSSIA'S PACIFIC STRATEGY: THE FORGOTTEN FRONT ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ

article image placeholderUploaded by @MichaelHilliard
They were slowly watching themselves become junior partners become effectively an afterthought in their own backyard. But this is what happens when you have limited money right now. They're shifting more and more of their infrastructure, including just shifting recent deployment of nuclear forces and strategic forces away from the Pacific and towards the European front. But the rest of the world is pivoting to the Pacific. So is Russia going to be left behind in their own backyard? That's what we're looking to see

Michael, I didn't get a chance to respond to this when you first posted. But in hindsight, when I look at everything that's been happening over the last week gives me the feeling that they don't care about the South China Sea. At least they don't seem to, because they wouldn't have done what they've done now with the Western flank. I think rebuilding the Soviet Union is probably more important to them than controlling the South China Sea

Splitting the US

So again compared to China, nothing particularly in the east where they have far less infrastructure. But by Russia putting pressure on the west, on the Western boundaries of the old Soviet Union, the west now needs to find another whole front and right now the US are terribly worried about having to commit so many forces in Europe when the real battlefield could be in Asia

For example, it's only Russia that's willing to sell Indian nuclear subs. The US is never willing to sell Indian nuclear subs to protect its Indian Ocean waters and stuff like that. Why is this quad alliance now going to hold strong if one of the partners in it depends on Russian equipment? China is going to put so much pressure on Russia to stop financing India's Army and stop selling to India's Army

So we're going to go with the Russians to which was a bad move. So hopefully, we see with the Asia India Pacific focus of the Biden administration, we might see them open up the rules. So, for instance, they might be supplying India with surface to air missiles, or they might be supplying India with a few probably Gen four fighters, maybe late Gen three fighters to diversify the Indian fleet
