Did Will Smith ACTUALLY just do that?

Okay. I was not watching the Oscars and I wish I would have so I could have seen this in real time. But if you were watching the Oscars and you know what happened with Will Smith and Chris Rock? Chris Rock was presenting in a more Warren or he's a host, I'm not positive. But he made a joke about Jada Smith, which is Will Smith's wife. And he did not take it lightly. And Will Smith went on stage and slapped Chris Rock

Okay. I have not seen anything about that at all, which I'm so surprised that I haven't seen anything like on Twitter especially. So I'm going to go watch that right now, because I cannot believe I can't even believe it

But it was definitely real for sure. And it's kind of sad, though, because even though it was a controversial yet funny moment, it kind of odd. Foreshadowed a lot of the big awards, specifically the big picture with Koda and best actress. Ask swell his winning of best Actor as well

I just think he should have waited. He could have even called out from the audience to Chris and said that was inappropriate. We don't appreciate that joke. Instead of getting up from his seat, walking on stage in the middle of a broadcast, and slapping Chris across the face and then yelling obscenities at them afterward, it was disappointing, in my opinion, to see Will Smith behave that way. So, yeah, I guess that's my thoughts on it

Oscar's ratings have been low for years and this was a publicity stunt to get people back on board. I just find that hard to believe. It looks very real to me. And how often do the Oscars happen? Do they really think that one little episode in this one night a year is going to draw in more people next year? Does that actually work? I don't know

I think anything that makes them look worse and I say, I know they come home so that we don't condone violence or whatnot. But if anything, as I talked about my boyfriend, it's like the Academy probably did not like this does not benefit them any fighters. So I definitely don't think it was stage. It was a cruel

Everyone can see that so many people are streaming and he chooses to belittle something that she's been so public about and just talked about struggling with Alopecia. I just thought there was no reason to make it. And honestly, in the heat of the moment, I can see why Will Smith do that. And I think why he did that, and I think it is justified just because especially he just wasn't expecting to hear it. And I think having a reaction

And I guess their opinion was that whether it be positive or negative, it didn't matter. They are a sinking ship, and they just wanted to be relevant again, which I can see how you would believe that. It's sad that we live in a world that has made us so skeptical and so cynical about everything. And I totally get why people believe that. But from the very beginning, it was apparent to me that it was a very real thing that happened
