Amanda Knox Case, based of her episode in crimes of the century on HBO Max

article image placeholderUploaded by @Maggiel6
Okay, so today I want to talk about the Amanda Knox case. I know this is old, but it will forever interest me how the media dictated so much to this trial. If you don't know about Amanda, she was a 20 year old student from Seattle studying abroad in Italy. She lived in an apartment with three other or girls, one being Meredith Curtain

There were some interesting things in this article or this essay that you just read. However, I would like to explore a little bit more about Amanda's personality. I have read that she was a little bit more she was less than contrite sounding. She was a little bit playful. And so she didn't seem to the Italian people to be as contrite as she should be. And that's why they shop thought she was guilty. So I'd like to I hear your perspective on that

Of course, now that I'm talking about it, forgetting the name of it'll come to me. It involved Robert Durst. And I'm not sure if you had seen that documentary. Definitely give it a go. He actually passed away not too long ago. Long ago. So it's sort of a timely thing to pick up. Again. I can't remember the name, but it is about Robert Durst. Anyways, thanks for your post. Looking forward to hearing some more

And then the individuals responsible for putting them onto trial, destroying their lives without a shroud of evidence, never face any consequences for just basically destroying someone's life for no reason. Thanks

Hey, Taylor, thank you so much for listening. And also, I know exactly what you're talking about on HBO about Robert Durst. I thought that was a really good documentary and I'm definitely gonna watch it again now that you said that. And I'll probably cover the that sometime soon in the future. Thank you. Bye

@PVmimi

She was in Italy as a junior in College, and she was there to have fun and learn about the culture. And I kind of just be free out there. So I don't think it has anything to do with the case, in my opinion. But Yes

Hi, thanks for your exploration on the Amanda Knox case. I'm curious what your thoughts are when people say quote The Amanda Knocks story, but more time is spent on the salacious parts of the case and it's often a short it note at the end that she was actually exonerated and things like movies are being made titled The Amanda Knock story or it's sort of implied, but very little is mentioned about the victim in the case

Hey hey Maggiel, I just wanted to give my opinion on this subject of matter. I really, really enjoyed this podcast of your zip code and I cannot wait to keep up with what you will post in the future. Also to the little girl who I'm assuming I shouldn't assume the little person who commented back about oh, you should have included something about the sister or whatever. You know what? I forget the haters you sound way sexier than her anyways. But overall I loved it

But with that being said, I think it just goes to show that the sister's opinions, no matter who it is, doesn't really matter. It's only about who is involved. And I think the little sisters specifically should just mind their own business. But, yeah, that's all I'm going to talk about. So thank you. I'd just like to thank Maggiel again for just creating this environment where people like me and Megan with Latin can have this sort of conversation

And I do feel with you the same thing is the fact that I don't think that there was really any evidence and for what happened really creates a lot of chaos and for people to be cheering and those types of things I understand for justice, but I understand that there's just so many missing pieces to some cases, and some things just never go solved. And sometimes just decisions are made and poor decisions are made

Amanda Knox the documentary

And also, I don't know if that episode does direct interviews with her, but it was really interesting to hear things from her perspective and get a more of a sense of her personality and how her life has been since she's been exonerated
