Daniel Craig or Sean Connery...

article image placeholderThe Swell Questionnaire
That is an easy question to answer. Sean Connery all day, every day. It took me until just a few years ago when the most recent Daniel Craig, Zero Zero seven, came out to watch all the others. I liked Daniel Craig as an actor, but I was not convinced or in love with the idea of him being zero zero seven, James Bond. I just wasn't

Yeah, I feel like it's. It's kind of hard to compare. You can't really compare somebody who's kind of new to the role versus somebody who made the role so iconic, so. Yeah, I agree with you totally

Well, it's funny that you mention the iconic role because I went back and watched a lot of the double oh seven movies in, you know, in sequence, in order. And the old Sean Connery ones were good, except where he was, like, such a sexist animal. Like, it was. It was incredible. Like, you, they would never get away with that stuff today in the era that we live in now, it was unbelievable

You are right. Without question, Sean Connery is the one. But you know who's a really close second if you have not seen it? Piers Brosnan. He's an excellent James Bond. Not as excellent as Sean Connery because that will not ever be done. But you have to watch a Pierce Brosnan one because Timothy Dalton was another one that was in the same realm of failure in my viewpoint, because Timothy Dalton, to me, is not even physically attractive

@rocio

You're totally right about that. It is. It's like comparing apples and oranges. Right? Like, they were different people in those roles at different times. And for us to watch them at different times in our lives are also gonna resonate differently. Right

Good morning and thank you for the reply. Yeah, you know, I have seen the Timid Timothy Dalton ones. I always forget about them to be perfectly honest, and for the very reason why you said he was never James Bond to me. And I have most definitely watched the Pierce Brosnan ones. And yes, they are definitely a good second to me as well. I love Piers Brosnan. He's just the most charismatic and sexy man
