Stained Tapestries

article image placeholderUploaded by @lunaticsoul
Stained tapestries. The tapestry of self respect that I had woven with the threads of confidence has been stained by my bleeding hands that got pricked by the needle of self awareness. The story of my resilience is strange. They say no matter how full your briefcase is, it can always fit another minuscule hairpin. I don't believe so. Another pin in my bag is yet another painful dagger to my heart. Maybe I can accommodate a few more, but definitely not a few thousand more

Hello, Radhika. And, you know, thank you for sharing your innermost thoughts in such a deep, intimate and expressive manner that it was really a poetry in itself. And a lot of times I found myself relating to the words that you were speaking

Hey, Kathry lives. Sorry about the horrible audio quality. I am at work in a different city and I have just woken up. It's 05:00 a.m. And there's traffic here somewhere. So I'm sorry about that. But really, really, this touched me your reply and I'm glad that you could relate. And yes, this is about my dark experiences in life. A very self introspective piece, and it is a poem. At least that's how I see it
