I'm here for the inspiration, but I don't want what they have, because sometimes what they have comes with a price that I just can't afford to pay. So again, I hope that this helps someone to stop either going to social media and feeling like they're just not doing the right thing or looking out for that family and friends and comparing themselves as if their accomplishments and what they do is not to be applauded. Like, stop, really give yourself more credit
When you've come off of years of actually knowing what's coming next. Job security. There was really never any job security, but a job where I didn't really need to make up a schedule. I mentored people, I trained people, managed people, managed projects, did all these things. And that kind of came to a halt when I needed to step back and take care of my parents, which they are no longer here. And I'm so blessed

So when they left this Earth, it was really I have children, I have family members, but I really want it to be intentional in living this life to the fullest, because one day it won't matter. And I want to just do all the things that my heart desires because I deserve it. And if I can do it, I will do it. So there is no real, true security in anything. It is just us putting our best foot forward and making it happen

And let me tell you, I think I must have played that song 40 times in the car because it was really one specific line in there, because I beat myself up so much over my credit score. It could definitely be better, right? But there's the line in the song where she was like, who give an F about a credit score? Might be rich as h*** tomorrow? I was like, yes. Because our circumstances could just change like that

I said I'm waking up every day to do my best, and I know I'm a work in progress, so I'm intentional about changing these things. Listen, society is, excuse my language, f***** up. Society cannot dictate to you what is right or wrong because they don't even know what is right or wrong.
