But yeah, just let me know what novels you guys prefer and if you're reading any good books, please drop those two because my friends have been recommending books for me and love the ones that they recommend. So far, The Gay Stones of the Six have been so good

Nobody can write anymore because I think I was seeing all of these contemporary novels that were just like pop mainstream hits. And a lot of times those don't have good storytelling, but they don't have very impressive writing. The way you're describing Sylvia Blair, who is one of my all time favorites. And I thought it was interesting that you mentioned learning from her style. When I was in high school, I used to literally just intentionally mimic her poetry to try to learn from it
I'm going to definitely check out those authors you recommended because sometimes with mainstream stuff, I feel like I don't like it a lot. I try to read normal people. I did not get through to the ending of it. I thought it was beautiful in the beginning, but then I kind of fell off a little bit. So I'm definitely going to check out those recommendations.
