Hi. Swell. So today I want to talk about dressing up for class in College or high school if you're still in high school. I think that's really interesting because I feel like on the days that I take the time to get ready and I like, get a cute little outfit on and I do my makeup, and I have everything just, like, coordinated. And I feel so just ready to go

Hey. So I went to Catholic school my entire life. So I wore a Plaid skirt and a Polo shirt, literally for twelve years. And then I got to College and not twelve years, twelve grades. So whatever. I went to College and I I had no idea what to do with myself because I never had to pick an outfit every morning. But so I'm usually a legging sweatshirt. That kind of casual but not like homeless looking, if that makes sense

So I feel like in high school, I've tried a lot more for. I don't even know why. I felt like in high school I like, I thought that, like, everybody was looking at me, so I like, I had to present myself in a way where I was just like, oh, appealing to everyone else. But being in College, I'm like, a little more laid back

Okay. I was actually just thinking about this like, last week, how much better I feel when I do go to class, like, dressed up where I like, put some effort into how I look. I'm like a firm believer of like, if you look good, you feel a lot better. And I think that I pay attention more. I feel more confident in myself, so I think that I'm more confident in my abilities. But I also take classes at 09:00 A.m

But now that I have the chance to have in person meetings, classes, and everything in general though, I just do it for the pleasure though, and I think it's fun though because I have self care and wellness of myself, loving and taking care of myself, though, so I think it interests and how you brought it up. That topic though

I'm meant to do something kind of like you said, versus when I'm just, like wearing my hoodie and biker shorts or something and just going to class. Like, yeah, I'm comfy, but I don't feel like I'm in the school mode. I just feel like I'm just going, you know what I mean? So I definitely do think that it makes a difference
You don't necessarily have to put on an elaborate outfit to feel dressed up. Whatever you think is more comfortable and will make you feel more confident. That is what dressing up is to you. And so I'm all for people dressing up for class
