Loving Old Jewish Men (in pop culture)

article image placeholderArticle in GQ
And then there are the up and coming old Jewish men like Ben Stiller and John Stewart. There's a sense that they will carry this grumpy, scaringly, insightful mantle. We find humor in Old Jewish men. They point out the ridiculousness of tradition while maintaining a sense that there should be tradition. The rigidity challenges the idea of rigidity. It's in this space of contradiction that we see the irony of life. Anyway, it's a great article for any fans of Oldschool men

A new GQ article explores this phenomenon. https://s.swell.life/SSmsZZlPsXjP9qP #popculture

This made me smile! Great swell! @lissahoop

But before we are like, super old, I hope. And then Larry David, which I don't think you mentioned him. I don't know if you can out him, but that guy cracks me up, so. Yeah. Thank you for this. Well, it definitely made me smile this morning. I hope you have an amazing day. Bye

And then you have Mel Brooks, who is classically, very funny, but also a little bit on the raunchy side. And I think that they're all just so diverse, but they do share similar qualities

@PKBriggs 😀

And yes, they are perfect examples of the fact that Larry David plays Bernie Sanders, too, shows their similarities. But yeah, they actually mentioned a meme, another meme of Bernie Sanders holding a piece of paper and said, I think he's eating and looking at it. And they're saying that that's his plan for the newest bill. That it's that simple. And he's just that casual looking at it. So thank you for yours response

@Taylor

Thank you for responding. I'm glad that you responded in terms of being Jewish. I was kind of wondering what that reaction would be in terms of a culture icon of old Jewish man like the article explored. And I like how you point out that the non exclusivity or that they say the older men will say things that are just not PC or appropriate
