It's just a question of finding that solace and trying to put that dependency on that pressure point of work life balance and then pass it on. So balancing the spiritual, physical, emotional, mental, all aspects of life is important. And if they are balanced, we can handle life in the midst of any kind of chaos. Now, when we focus on what truly matters to our life, our life automatically comes into balance and make sure that life aligns with your priorities and not in what culture says we are supposed to do. I think the reason perhaps this terminology came into being is especially in places like Metros where people spend a lot of time commuting to work and back and spending those 8 hours at work necessarily. So I think a significant portion of their day is spent around that need which leaves them with very less time to tend to home or family related stuff. So that's possibly why therefore everything is classified as work, right? Not just the work itself, but getting to work, coming back and so on

There is no way I could have even thought of doing any personal work. Even being something as small as making a payment through paytm for something that's urgent. I couldn't do that in school because we didn't have that kind of time as teachers. So I think it just totally depends on what kind of work environment you are in, what line you are in. But I'm glad that you took that final decision of moving out from there and are attending to something very important in your life.
