Is There a New Comic Book Character You’re Excited About? No?! I Know Why!

article image placeholderUploaded by @LegacyComix
And I said, no, because I'm not going to read them. I want to buy stuff that I'm legit interested in reading. And the thing is, though, a lot of the times. Like, perfect example with local man. I wanted to pick it up because there's a lot of buzz behind it. And the comic book store owner told me they didn't order any copies. They didn't know how it was going to do

I just wanted to share that with you because I know how bland the storylines are getting in the superhero community, and I'm just trying to create a new age. New I don't know. I'm just a writer. Searching for Star Wars, I guess. Enjoy your day. Be safe

So if people would pick up our books, they'll say, oh, my gosh, this is like Batman. Oh, my gosh, this is sort of like Spiderman. And I know it's kind of like, you got to be real careful not to be too close to those series, and people will say, oh, they're just stealing, or you get a copyright problem or whatever. But you have to form it in a way where it becomes your own

Hey, Jigsoar, this is cory Bird. I have my own comic book series as well called tooth and Nail. I'm head of bird's Eye View Comics, indie company that is trying to make up a rise up in the industry because there are things out there that's been around for so long that's rehashing the same story zone again. And we need some new stuff out there. And your ideas sound fantastic

Yeah, I agree. I kind of think that some people buy comic books, especially, like, indies comics, and they just collect it to support the creators, but I think they just buy it and they just put it in a shelf and don't read it, I feel. And I think that if they read it, they'll be more invested in it and then they'll spread the word of mouth to other people

It was written by June Saka, of course, licensed by Kishimoto, the creator of Naruto. The way the Instagram and the Devian art community, Twitter community, came together, people are literally going to this artist called Cguros and begging Cguros to draw Retsudan's panels because this is the first time Sask is being cory. And the amount of art that has happened, the fan art, which is now available as, like, these comics

And we got so many independent great artists and creators out there that are being ignored because everybody is still flocking to the mainstream. And if people are looking for new characters and new stories, they should look into the independent market. Thanks

That's when a light bulb moment happened with me where it's like, oh yeah, there are some things that we don't admit to talking about in public because we're like, oh, people aren't aware of this. Or this is probably such a niche interest. I don't really talk about how much I love Juniti. I always get his name wrong. Junichi Ethos comics, they are so brilliantly creepy. I love them so much. The amount of nightmares I get after reading his

Typing stuff can sometimes be taken out of context, so you don't want to sit there and type for hours and hours and hours to make one point. But to say it quickly within five minutes is always a great benefit. So. Thank you, Vidanti. I really appreciate it for coming back and speaking to me about that. Thanks
