Who Regulated FDA?

But at this time, I don't think I want to eat anything that comes out of the ocean. Climate crisis is real. But getting back to diets hello. Why are we still eating stuff that has fruit, corn syrup, all these hydrogenated oils, yellow dye number six, BHT? I had a weak moment, and I spent 15 minutes trying to choose a cereal, a cereal box. And yes, I caved. And my favorite cereal is Captain Crunch has BHT, a known carcinogen

Like, the more organic and fresh foods are expensive, and there's food deserts where people don't have access to even like, you have to travel farther to have the access to fresh and healthy foods for you. But I agree. I struggle with wanting to be healthy. I feel like I try to balance things out, but I wish that I had more access to it and that it was more affordable

I want to say it's Johnson. Johnson or some of these sunscreen companies. One of the active ingredients in some of the toxic sunscreens is known to cause leukemia, one of the worst forms of cancers. And the chairman and board has been outright public about being on the board of individuals or I don't remember all the company names. It's been a minute, but I remember I was shocked to see that the person who made the sunscreens, one of the biggest sunscreen manufacturers in the US

You know, your carbs, the pizza, the pastas, all of the things eating them overseas, europe, Africa, all of these different places, and actually still felt lighter. There was no GI upset. There was no bloating. There was no any type of post eating discomfort

They're very enlightening, and hopefully more discussions will come about whether or not we can do something to complain or maybe advocate and tell or be the advocate to other people and tell them, stop and look at the ingredients. If it's two inches long, put it back. It's not healthy. It's just educating those that just are more impulsive eaters. And I think if we can just impact a few people, then we've done our job. Thank you again for responding

You. Thank you for your response. First thing I have to say is that you really nailed it when you said that they're looking to see that we're not going to die overnight, like in a car accident or something. But they tend to whatever chemicals we're absorbing in our bodies are not going to impact us till years later and then their accountability is zero. Wow, that's a big one. I am sorry to hear about that on the baby oil gosh

You. Hi, and thank you for responding. I'm really enjoying this swell cast podcast. Or I'm not even sure what it's called. I just find things, and I'm at the point that I'll try anything except food. But thank you for mentioning that about how your body felt after coming back. It's kind of embarrassing that we have to expose ourselves to other countries food to know that they're serving us crap
