#askswell | Do Corporations really appreciate their employees these days?

article image placeholderUploaded by @LadyFi
But what has a corporation ever done for you in a positive manner that has recognized your ability and skill, that you thought was on a level that was best for you, that pleased you in some kind of way? If you have any of those positive stories you can feel free to share them right here. However, if you've moved a corporation forever and they haven't acknowledged you as doing a great job and yes, we all have to have jobs, I get that

Complexity

I mean, as you again, you said yourself, you have a corporation. The whole reason corporations exist is to separate the owners of it from the risk. So if your business goes under, which let me just be clear, I wish you all the best and all the success that you achieve, everything that you want to do and that you grow, because I want that for anybody who's going out on the limb to do something like this

Part 2

So you have three managers trying to keep a store open for, let's see here, five in the morning to one in the morning, 20 hours a day, seven days a week, 140 hours. And you've got three people trying to do that with as little overlap as possible. You're talking about three managers who are working overtime all the time just to get stuff to happen. And if there's any kind of emergency, then you're talking even more overtime

And when I say do corporations really appreciate their employees is that do they do stuff like that? Do corporations these days do stuff like that? Not everything is monetarily. Not everything is an award. Not everything is a trophy or a certificate. It can be little things too

But there are people out there that I can tell you have done their 25 years, 30 years, 40 years in a job, and nobody really cares that much about them because they just do the bare minimum and make everyone else hate coming to work each day. Like anytime I saw an issue come from her, I cringed thinking, how much of her basic job am I covering? Because she doesn't want to do anything more

@Ara70

You don't work well with them in regards to relaying to them your satisfaction and above for what they have gone through or doing for the company. You're going to lose them and then you're going to have people there that don't want to really be there and you're going to have to deal with that. So I think proactively more corporations should take the time to really acknowledge their employees and appreciate them. An example that whoopee pie or whatever that he was given. That's terrible

MMM. Thank you once again. And, yes, I do agree with you. If you're just doing the bare minimum, I don't care how long you've been there, if you've been irritating and aggravating, then you know you got your reward, because you've been there long enough and you didn't get fired. So, yeah, I agree with that. But if you're going above and beyond and you're a good employee great employee, to be exact

You. So I have a question for you because I want to hear your perspective on this. In your place in life, where you are now, are you already planning out how you'd like to implement something like this for yourself? I mean, I don't know what your business plan is, what level you're wanting to go to, because I've worked with a number of entrepreneurs in my life

And in being a greater person, or you put yourself in a greater position for bigger and better things, and that will take the company a long way. We need people just like colleges. They want you to come in, and they pick the best of the best. That's what I want. I want the best of the best because I desire nothing less. So if you're doing that on any level, I plan to acknowledge you a newsletter. I plan on acknowledging you bonuses
