The specialty of neurosurgical care involves both adults and pediatric patients. It's a medical specialty, and anyone that has disorders with the nervous system, like the brain, the spinal cord, the peripheral nervous system, those are things that neurosurgeons work on. And neurosurgeons are amazingly talented physicians. Not that all other physicians aren't talented, but neurosurgeons work in places that are so rare, that are so particular to you that you can literally die if they touch the wrong thing

It's one of those jobs where you know how people know, hey, made a mistake. It's one of those jobs where you have to be perfect. I'm sorry. And I'm so excited to see more black women going into stem, little girls turning into young black women that are going into stem and using that and their professions to make this world greater. We've always been a huge contributing factor to inventions and society and industry, and it's not going to stop. I'm just excited to see where it's about to go.
