She has three other children, but she never makes any of us feel like we're slighted in any way. She can be tired, she can be upset. She can be just down and out, and she will still find a way to listen to you, to cheer you up. My mom is a rock. I mean, she's so strong. She just lost my dad, and she is just keeping on, keeping on. I thank my dad for all the things that he taught me

There was love, but we, there were things we couldn't talk about and emotion wasn't easily expressed. And so I actually developed a sense of humor around being able to get them to my parents to express a certain amount of emotion. But as I grew older, those things, a relationship opened up more, and I really had to work on some aspects around my relationships with my parents in different ways. But I particularly always felt a close relationship with my mom at different levels

Hey, homo sanity, you know, I loved how you described your parents in great detail, you know what I'm saying? Like, that just tells me so much. It tells me that you love them, that you love your mom, that you loved your dad. And yes, parents have their ups and downs with their kids. I didn't always. Well, I was never a rebellious child. I was always a good child. And I always listened to my parents
