#askSwell | What qualifies a person to be "good" person?

article image placeholderUploaded by @LadyFi
You what qualifies a person to be a quote unquote good person? Is it how you love? Is it what you believe? Is it how you treat people? Is it what you say? Is it what you don't say? Is it how you act? Or is it just a word quote unquote quote good? Good means better, right? Well, let's look at the definition of good. To me, the definition of good would just mean a person that's being nice

That is for that person to decide, because they could be doing a pure and righteous act for them. They are following their internal compass of what they believe is right. And as long as they are okay with it and are at peace with it, then it's good. And if they are not at peace with it, and they are not okay with their action, then for them it's bad. It has nothing to do with me

They might be like you said, inner compass is pointing them in the direction of doing this. And they perceive that to be good according to what they believe. But if I don't believe the same, does it mean that they're bad? I don't know. I think that we need to stop judging so much and try to understand more. We need to stop talking and start listening

Thank you. Thank you so much for commenting on this. Well, and you're so right. Gratitude journal happens. Journals help a lot to just write down what you're grateful for. And it reminds you of what God has done for you, what good things have happened to you thus far. You can just like, reread them and add to them every day. So, yeah, I think it's a matter perspective. Thank you so much. Bye

Hello. Thank you so much for responding to this swell. I'm so sorry I didn't get back with you earlier. I loved everything you said. I love the fact that you said you're a lover of language and there is power in the words that we say, power in the tongue. And excuse me, I have a cold, but what was I saying? Anyway, there is power in the tongue. Because you could say to the person, well, you know what?
