When I First felt like an Adult: They thought I Ran away but I Left! 🏃🏽♀️ #LadyFi
I mean, one day, I just couldn't take it anymore. I couldn't take my parents arguing. I couldn't take their fighting. I couldn't take the abuse that we were enduring. And I left. I left because my father made me have an abortion and I wanted my baby so badly. And you say he made you. You didn't know my father. Yep, he made me. And then continued to berate me afterwards
You pull from that, those things, those characteristics and qualities and bits of information in your powerful mind, and you collected that information throughout all of what you endured and with the help and support of those who loved you, like your brother and your sister. And you said to yourself, I know I'm a teenager, but I feel grown and I love myself

Only regret that I had was leaving my brother and my two sisters behind. But they were too small. They were too little. I couldn't take them with me. But it taught me how to grow up real fast. Because life does not care how old you are. The adulting. Be adulting, okay? Life. Be licensed. And I'm just glad that God never left my side, really. I'm glad that he consistently kept me because it was hard and it was lonely
