Well, she was raking the leaves, and when she got done raking the leaves with her daughter, my brother in law was sitting outside and just relaxing, you know, had the grill going while they were raking the leaves. Well, my sister put the leaves into the garbage can or barrel that they were using in order to burn the leaves, but they weren't burning fast enough because they had a whole ton of leaves. So what she did is she doused them with some lighter fluid

And I always just think of organ donation as being, you know, heart, lungs, kidneys, and skin. It didn't even occur to me. And skin is an organ. It's considered an organ of the human body. It has, like, huge functions, and, you know, it protects our body first. It's like your armor. And I didn't realize that you could donate your skin so that they can use the skin for burn victims like your sister

Thank you so much. My sister is wonderful. Now, this was years ago, and she's doing so much better. My niece is better. Her hands are perfect, perfectly fine. And I think my sister really is trying to conquer the fear of fire now. She's doing the best she can. She still has a really bad scar all over her left arm, upper arm, mostly. And then, well, yeah, it's the whole arm

And while there was lots of physical things going on, there's also the emotional toll and the mental toll, right? That it takes on the body, it takes on the spirit. And I definitely send out much love to you all and prayers for your well being. That was a traumatic event, I'm sure, and the ability to act and think quickly is a blessing as well. I agree with you wholeheartedly. We do not all have that in the ways that we would like to

But still, he did it. So I'm just really glad that people can hear the story, because when she needed skin, it was there for her, but it was only there for her because people had donated it. And I think that people don't realize that that is a thing that we can donate. The skin is the biggest part of the body, and we're not going to need it. So why not help someone when you leave, like you say, transition from this earth?
