#askswell | When you’re sick are you a big baby?

article image placeholderUploaded by @LadyFi
Not just to witness your sickness, but to be there to help you, to hold your hand, just to let you know that someone is there and they care about you. And then there are some people that want to be sick by themselves. They don't want people to see that they're sick. They don't want people to notice that they're sick or be embarrassed because they threw up or couldn't control their other means. And they don't want people to know that

When you’re sick are you the biggest baby? #sickness #beingsick #beingabigbaby

But typically I am so sorry. Excuse me. Typically, when I'm sick, though, especially if I vomit, oh, my goodness. I start crying, and I'd be wanting somebody to come in there and rub my back and stuff like that. My daughters don't ever do it because they can't stand to see it and they can't smell it, and they actually can't even hear nobody doing it

Are you a big baby when you get sick?

He'll pray for me and he'll of my back maybe, when I come back from vomiting, but no, he ain't coming in that bathroom, not at all. So, yeah, I get what you're saying. And most of the time, as mothers, aren't we the ones taking care of everybody anyway? So I think if we become big babies when we get sick, we deserve it. We deserve to be pampered. We deserve to have people come and help us

And so the fact that I had COVID three times, it's like, what? I have a pretty good immune system, so I thought but anyway, the last two times I had it, my cat was, like, right there with me. So that's one of the reasons why I just love animals. And I think we talked about this cat versus dogs, whatever, on another one of your swells, but my cat was like, right there

@DearAuntyAng

I was thinking that possibly I was, because when I was so sick this time I just really wanted my husband to hold my hand or hold me or rub my head or something. But my kids were there, and he was there in his own way too. But yeah, animals, that's why I love them, because they are faithful no matter what. And my dog, she stayed right by my side the whole entire, like two and a half weeks that I was sick

@KIWDS

I don't want to get dehydrated. Get no cramps. Oh, my goodness. But that is the most honest answer. And then when you got to go to work and be sick, that's a whole mess right there. But, yes, thank you so much for responding. You always make me laugh. That was hilarious and honest
