King Charles’s Big Day
How does everyone feel here? Is the monarchy relevant? Should it be relevant? Should it be relevant to us in the US? I truly don't know the answer to that. It's actually up to the British people, to be honest, to decide whether they want to retain the monarchy. And I think, as of right now, polling is showing that they're okay with it. There are a number of people saying, no, we need to get rid of it
Hi, Mark. As you said, obviously it's up to the British people to decide. But as an outsider, I mean, if I had a vote on it, I would vote for it to stay. And the reason for that is that it is a cultural institution. And in general, kind of, I think the world would be a little less interesting without it. So for that reason, unless it's causing tangible harm that people real, it has to go away
