The Selection by Keira Cass: A Review

article image placeholderUploaded by @kmukherjee
And I did say some controversial stuff about books reviews before, but I needed to let you know that the selection series, at least the first book is really good. It's got me hooked on, and I'm definitely reading the second one. With that, I will bet you do. Good bye

An amazingly written dystopian romance!! Definitely reading the next one! Have you read it? What do you think?

Oh my God. Okay. So I'm Koena start some beef, even though I have no right to do so. So you and Akshidha are literally the only type of book review people I listen to. And from Ha, I remember Ha saying that the selection series is overhyped and it is actually horrible and you are saying it's really good, and now I'm just conflicted. I'm just going to tag her in this. So she listens to this. And hopefully you guys start beeping

@pavitramenon @bibliophileAksh sticking to my opinion 😁😁☕️

Hey, I am assuming since I heard her swell a long time back because it's been quite a while, I guess. And I think she was talking about the whole series like as an entire thing. This is my review just for the first book and I seem to have enjoyed it because I don't find many well written romances and Dystopian romances especially. And this one seemed pretty good. According to me. I think the hypes worth it, I guess

A 5-min reply😂😂 @pavitramenon@kmukherjee

Yeah, right. But everyone has different opinions and we have to respect them. And it's perfectly okay if you love this book because many people I know, many, many people I know love this book. And is there call on for trade? Yeah. In fact, even I kind of liked the first book because it was fun and not at all complicated, and it helped me get out of reading slump. So it first book was okay

And even that line wasn't properly executed. She just destroyed that scene. I didn't feel anything. The Polo swear, so predictable and so unnecessary and so stupid. I just hate that this book series, the only good thing about it is that it's fast paced, it's fun, and it's not at all complicated. So it's perfect for beginners. And since it's fast paced, it helps you get out of inclamp

I'm more of the thriller or action or something related to scriptures or something in that line, I guess. Yeah, but nice review, Koena. It's nice to see that you got out of your books and that you actually have a library that you can go to because because d***, I'm jealous. I can't find a single library in Dubai which has decent books. Period. If anyone has any good libraries, please tell me, please

Just a few thoughts… @Akshidha

I mean, those two countries don't want to get into politics and stuff, but I don't even know much about politics, but as much as I know, those two countries have definitely not got off on the right foot. Also, the sentences that you said from the book, I did realize I did understand quite a few of them because I read the book recently and I recognized them. That's what I'm at

And even though this plot twist was kind of expected not much in the first books, but as much as I can see, probably I can guess what will in the next few books, but I really want to see how, you know, I want to like, picture my head like the way the author's written it just like a little magical thing

@pavitramenon

Yes. Perfect. Right. Sword to God, you got me. You got us. Honestly. Congrats on that. Yeah. I don't know what my review will be at the end of the series, but for the first, I guess it's fine. You should read it. You know

This is the Sofia, but it still didn't have any dark voice. These books are not mine and they are only like Six of Crows kind of books. See Akoya, you should actually try reading Six of Crows. You will forget all about selection. All about all these Katra books. You have to read good books. Then you realize that actually collection was nothing
