Should religion really play that big of a part in Politics and legislation??

Hey, you guys, this is actually a thought I've been having for a cool minute. Like, you know, me realizing a bunch of things going on in the world. What are you guys thoughts on religion impact and policy making or law making or anything of the sorts. Yeah, I just want to hear from you guys. Cool, but

What's up, Kesly? I'm just gonna go with the very simple answer, which is separation of Church and state. I don't think politics and religion have any relationship with one another. My reason for this is mainly because because politics and law serve all people within a given society, religion is on a wide spectrum. It's people from different ethnicities cultures, races you could have. In my case, I have family, that's Greek Orthodox

I totally agree with you as long as you're practicing something and you're not hurting nobody else, by all means, practice what you love. But the problem I have to say right now would be how lawmakers basically make laws based off of their Christian views or Catholic views. I feel like that's creating a lot of problems
