Diversity - Our PRIDE

article image placeholderUploaded by @Khushii
By the end of the day, we all crave for similarity. Imagine a world with only one religion, one language, one culture, one color, and only one choice. Well, I would call that a definition of health. When it's the time for people to stand up and speak against discrimination and support the differences, let's choose to ignore it. Let's choose to never talk about it. Why does it matter how much more time is needed for acceptance?

I accept the differences, do you? #campusvoices #sayitonswell #LGBTQ #diversity #pride @swell_talk_india

India is probably the only country in world history where people, at least five religions are living in peace without fighting with each other since hundreds of years. Yes, there are lots and other issues that arise when the balancing diversity gets disturbed. But is there any country where it does not happen? Every country has civic violence issues. No countries free from it, except Switzerland I guess

For our people, beauty still lies in more fair skin types and we are still running after products that make our skin acceptable. The tree of diversity in India is probably the tallest. Its branches are spread farther than of any other country. But the roots of inequalities go deep down in our system and I think that it is an undeniable fact. So do tell me what you think about it

@Khushii Talking to you through replies is really interesting ✌️

How would it matter to me as an individual? That how a person leads their private life. In fact, how does someone being straight help me? Unless someone hurts someone, they must have the freedom to live their life the way the Almighty has blessed them with. Just because someone is different to us doesn't make the fact relevant. Smart people judge humans by humanity and I think of gay people as normal human beings who just have a different preference of their significant other
