The Common Lamentation in Ginsberg’s "Sunflower Sutra"

article image placeholderUploaded by @kendallmilender
So we are starting this series with a great poem, very thin poem by Allen Ginsburg. I'm just going to read the first few stanzas to character sauce of Sunflower Sutra. I walked on the banks of the Tin Can banana dock and sat down under the huge shade of a Southern Pacific locomotive to look at the sunset over the box house Hills and cry. Jack Carwax sat beside me on a busted, rusty iron pool companion

Here we read the first few stanzas of Allen Ginsberg’s "Sunflower Sutra" and reunderstand them outside of an urban landscape.

Hey just came across this Swell and thought it was really cool. It's really thinking outside the box of what we can share with each other and different things that we may not interact with in our normal everyday life. But Swell has made you the ability for us to just kind of go on and search for something or come across it. And this is just really interesting. I look forward to the rest of the series. So thanks for posting
